The other day I played against a ] or smth deck and that was both strong and fun as well. Big tip however don't play this versus the hapatra player, you'll thank me later hehe. I can also recommend ], he is just so much fun. It is a 2 cmc commander which is fun on it's own. Not too expensive and pretty strong and fun as well! Not all too much graveyard shennannigans but a very unique deck with many tokens and -1/-1 counters. However the commander is on the hitlist so it gets targeted fast.Ī friend of mine plays a ] deck. It is very strong if left alone, and very much fun. I own a ] deck and it was my first deck ever, and I still tune it every set. Your cards would work well with Jarad I think. My artifact deck is Mardu aristocrats but I get the feeling it's quite a bit different than other aristocrats/sacrifice decks because of the heavy artifact interaction.īecause I already have a couple of seed cards in Jarad/Molvervine, I'm leaning to some sort of sacrifice theme, but due to my inexperience with Golgari, I can't really envision how a Jarad deck would play. Historically I've been an Izzet player until building my Miirym deck.
I also just pulled ] from a BRO booster which had me thinking about mill, but could also work well with Jarad maybe? I have like four ] copies, and it's neat but I'm not sure if it's a good card. I have a copy of ], a ] I've been sitting on but have never used which are both interesting. I've seen many a Golgari card that piques my interest, but then I'm not sure what to do with them. The decks are cool, but I keep feeling drawn away from them but toward something I can't quite visualize. Those decks being Miirym dragon tribal and Jan Jansen artifact aristocrats. Hello, everyone! I've found myself in an uncomfortable position where, while I quite like my current decks, I'm not really connecting with them the way I was while I built the lists. I just feel drawn to the colour pair and some of the cool cards I've seen within. TL DR: I'm looking for some inspiration for a budget Golgari deck, but I'm not sure what theme/commander to pick.
